Developing a Digital Strategy

Our February IT4Arts workshop is going to take a new format: a practical workshop designed to give you the skills and confidence to develop a Digital Strategy for your arts organisation. From social media to mobile technologies, box office systems to cybersecurity – digital technologies influence every aspect of your arts organisation, and you need a strategy to ensure your digital planning supports your overall arts objectives.

This workshop will cover current approaches to digital planning and strategy, and share with you practical tools and examples to help accelerate your own strategic planning process. The outcome of the session will be for you to have confidence in your digital recommendations, and awareness of the issues in creating and rolling out your digital strategy.

The workshop will be led by Susan Hallam and Sarah Ogle, two senior thought leaders in the world of arts marketing and management. Sarah is the Marketing & Communications Director at Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres, serves on the board of the AMA and plays an active role in the Liverpool Arts Regeneration Consortium. Susan is Managing Director of Hallam Internet, a full service digital marketing agency, and she advices arts organisations on the development of their digital strategies.
